Yes! We offer private pay sessions.
What is the process to start therapy?
Obtain a script from your referring physician
Complete an intake call during which we will collect information regarding the client’s background, medical history, and therapy goals
Schedule an evaluation and therapy sessions
Fill out necessary paperwork
Attend the evaluation
We recommend family or loved ones attend the evaluation session as able, with client approval.
What does a typical therapy session look like?
Pediatrics
If the client is 3 years old or younger, it is recommended that a parent or loved one attends therapy sessions
If a client is older than 3 years, parents or loved ones can wait in the lobby with exceptions
All therapy at Lakes is play-based, using neurodiversity-affirming approaches
Sessions are typically 30 minutes
Adults
Sessions are completed in person or via teletherapy
Therapy will target individualized, client-based goals
Loved ones may be requested to attend, dependent upon diagnosis
Sessions are typically 40-50 minutes
